This comprehensive one day course covers a number of issues that face every crash investigator whenever they respond to a serious crash. Is a warrant required before any evidence can be seized? If so, was the evidence gathered correctly? Will the findings be allowed in court? Will your actions or inactions place the investigation in peril? This class focuses on proper and formal application of search warrants related to motor vehicle crashes and is designed for any law enforcement officer who is charged with investigating them. Instructor: Officer Michael J. Allard has been a member of the Northampton MA Police Department since 1988.
