A Proven, No Nonsense Approach to Prevention, Intervention & Diversion……

This is a 2-day course designed for line, SRO’s, supervisory and command level officers.  The course provides a gang awareness and prison gang update.  The focal point is an in-depth examination of the magnitude of the gang problem and hands-on implementation of a no-nonsense, meaningful early intervention gang diversion program called “Juvenile Impact”. 

Having first been introduced in California, Juvenile Impact aims at imposing consequences and redirecting criminal behavior before it’s too late.  The program is facilitated by law enforcement in a leadership role, networking with community-based organizations, courts and parents, graffiti identification, eradication and the enhancement of the vitality of the community by former juvenile offenders will be emphasized in detail.  Officer safety and Restorative Justice will be emphasized throughout the course.
